PLAN OF SALVATION

GOD'S LOVE IS REVEALED IN THE BIBLE:
God loves you and wants to make your life full and complete even after this lifetime.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

WE ARE SINFUL:
We are all sinners and we all do things that we know are wrong. God is holy and good and by nature we are not.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

SIN HAS A PENALTY:
Just as criminals must pay the penalty for their crimes sinners must pay the penalty for their sins if they continue in them.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

CHRIST HAS PAID OUR PENALTY:
The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ, God’s sinless Son paid the penalty for our sins.
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT:
Grace is an undeserved favor and it is an offering from God that you could never provide for yourself.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

CHRIST IS AT YOUR HEART'S DOOR:
Picture Jesus Christ Himself standing at the door of your heart ready to come into your life.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)

YOU MUST RECEIVE HIM:
When you receive Jesus Christ into your heart you become a child of God and can talk to Him any time.
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)

PRAY TO ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOR:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you today asking you to forgive me for my sins. I believe you are the son of God and that you shed your blood and died on the cross to forgive me for my sins. Please come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. From this day forward I will follow you. In your precious, holy name. AMEN.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Now that you've made a decision to follow Jesus, It is very important to get involved in a Bible believing chuch and follow in beleiver's baptism. You've just been "born again" and that means you are a baby Christian. In order to grow you will need to be fed spiritually. Getting involved in the right church will allow you to hear the word of God through preaching and teaching. This will also allow you to meet other Christians who will encourage you in your daily walk with the Lord.
